A Christmas Poem for our wonderful vendors

A Christmas Poem for our wonderful vendors

happy holidays snowman MAW

To Our Dear Vendors:

Twas the night before Christmas and the office was dark,

No one was stirring, the dog didn’t bark,

The applications were ready, printed with care,

In hopes that more weddings soon would be there!

The staff was all snuggled at home in their beds,

While visions of wonderful ceremonies danced in their heads.

All partied and celebrated and had a night cap,

And now were all settled for a nice winter’s nap.

When inside the office there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.

I flew around the halls and was there in a dash,

Peeking all around and behind the curtain sash.

Holiday lights made the office all glow,

Gave luster to the sand containers below.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a bunch of little elves with hats on like reindeer.

They all worked so very hard and quick,

I knew in a moment it must be a trick.

But they were on a mission and that’s why they came,

And all signed in saying their name.

Cheryl, Casey, Frank, Heather, Sean and Bobbie Jo,

Brian, Cora, Kuya and Mike – my mind began to flow.

From the back of the office to the side wall,

They were doing some work each and all.

They scurried around like a wild hurricane fly,

And when they finished a task, they gave a satisfied sigh.

All through the office these little elves flew,

With so many weddings and vow renewals too.

All around I heard their little feet,

Filling applications that we would have to meet.

As I withdrew my head to turn around,

Supplies were coming through the door without a sound.

They were all dressed in their finest from head to toe,

All knew their places and where to go.

It was obvious they had each other’s back,

They all started pulling things from their pack.

Their eyes all twinkled and dimples were merry,

I thought they have all sipped some sherry!

All of the mouths were showing a big smile,

As they unpacked supplies from mile to mile.

They were tying bows mostly using their teeth,

And floral bouquets in circles like a wreath.

There were pictures around of styles of hair,

So beautiful, it was hard not to stare.

The music they played showed jolly old elves

And they were laughing in spite of themselves.

Limos, Ceremonies, Photos danced in my head

And I soon knew I had nothing to dread

They were there with supplies and continued to work

To make us successful was without any quirk.

They were all the best in all of their field

Success Maui Aloha Weddings would yield.

They finished their work and one gave a whistle.

They took off from the office as fast as a missile.

But they heard me exclaim as they left from being near,

Thank you Thank you to all and to all it was a good year!
